So, the title of my blog is 'Tri II, My Chance to Break 3 Hours'. Because last time I just wanted to finish, this time I need to do everything a little bit quicker. Here goes:
Swim: I don't think that I need to go any faster than last time. Last time wore me out. I actually think I need to do this part a little slower. 2 minutes slower in the swim fine if it saves me 15 minutes on the bike. Last time I think the quick swim cost me about 20 minutes on the bike. I'm looking form about 16 minutes for the 750 m. swim (last time it was 1000 m. so this should be a piece of cake).
Bike: Now that I know this is the leg that will break a person, I'm dedicating most training to this portion. I'm giving myself 1hr 40 minutes to cover the 10 miles.
Run: 2 Miles up, 2 miles down. I should be able to do about 9 min. miles down the mountian and I'm hoping for 11-12 minute miles up the mountain (probably more like 13) - 45 minutes for this leg.
